Teresa J Collins

Teresa Jane (DeeDee) Collins, age 85 of Scituate, MA passed away July 19, 2018 after a brief illness. DeeDee was the daughter of Frederick and Helen Dowd of Scituate. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Collins retired US Navy and sister Patty Galligan. She is survived by four daughters Becky Collins of Rockland, Bonnie (Jack) Donohue of Scituate, Susie (Mark) Anderson of Vermont, Marybeth Collins of Naples, FL and siblings Marion Duffey, Sis Dowd retired USMC, Billy Dowd all of Scituate and Peter (Peggy) Dowd of Marshfield.

Dee loved spending time with her grandchildren Siobhan Karlberg, Jake and Colin Donohue of Scituate, Kevin and Stefanie Anderson of Naples, FL and Dylan Anderson of Vermont as well as her 6 great grand-children. She was a 1952 graduate of Scituate High School where she excelled in basketball, tennis and field hockey.

Deedee was an avid bowler, reader and enjoyed knitting gifts for her family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Norwell VNA and Hospice for their loving care and devotion.
