Robert Harris

Robert Harris, a lifelong resident of Scituate, peacefully entered into rest surrounded by family December 16, 2023 at the age of 88. He was the adoring Husband to the late Mary T. (Ryan) Harris, married for 65 years.

Born in Cohasset to the late Charles and Margaret (Reardon) Harris, Robert was known as a worker. If it needed to be driven, he drove it. If it needed to be fixed, he could fix it. If it needed to be made, he would make it. If it needed to be built, he would build it, and all of this hard work and dedication was done in the pursuit of making his family know, they were loved. A true “old school” kind of guy.

He is preceded in death by his sister Sheila, and grandsons Ryan and Charles. His legacy of life and hard work is passed on to his children Donna and husband Alan, Charles and wife Linda and Shawn and wife Kathy, all residing in Scituate.

Robert is also survived by his grandchildren; Shawna, Kelli, Nichole, Sheila, Shane, Meri-lenn, Erin, Melissa and Shawn and great grandchildren; Cameron, Isabella, Carter, Kobe and Kingston.

Family and friends are invited to attend a morning visitation from 8:30 to 10:30 AM, December 20th, at St. Mary of the Nativity Church 1 Kent St., Scituate, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM and burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.
