Peter M. Tinch

Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late John R. Tinch Sr. and Maryellen M. (Mason) Tinch.

Loving brother of John R. Tinch Jr. of Halifax and the late Janet Tinch Chipman of Marshfield.

Cherished uncle of Jebidiah J. Chipman and his wife Jennifer of Abington, Zachary E. Chipman and his wife Lindsay of Pembroke, Wendell R. Chipman and his wife Taylor of Marshfield, and Victoria R. Peters (formerly Chipman) and her husband Daniel of Whitman.

Peter is also survived by his great-nieces and nephews: Katalina Chipman, Adalynn Chipman, Nicholas Chipman, Brodie Chipman, Declan Chipman, Wendell Chipman Jr., Willow Chipman, and Ophelia Peters.

Peter dedicated many years of his life working for Stop & Shop and was eagerly anticipating his upcoming retirement. He enjoyed spending his time off visiting with family and was excited about the possibilities his retirement years would bring.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30 PM on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Meadowbrook Restaurant, 1486 Main Street, Hanson, Massachusetts 02341. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
