Peter J. Jordan

Peter was a long time resident of Scituate. Affectionately called "Peps" by many. He loved to fish and golf. He enjoyed cooking, liked to play his guitar and was also quite a talented artist. He loved spending time with family and friends and will be missed by many.

He was the beloved husband of the late Sheila (Miller) Jordan. Peter is survived by his children: Maggie Jordan of Scituate, Jakob Jordan of Scituate, Shane Jordan of Scituate, Cody Jordan of Scituate, Justin Jordan of Plymouth, Jennifer Novick, her husband Scott, and 2 year old granddaughter Nora of New Jersey.

Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late Robert and Elnora Jordan of Scituate. He was the brother of Barry Jordan of Scituate, David Jordan his wife Deb of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Nancy Martin and her husband Leo of Plymouth, Jeffrey Jordan and his fiancé Margie Zucker of Scituate and brother of the late Ronald Jordan of Springfield, Robert Jordan Jr. of New Hampshire, and Jon Jordan of Scituate. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grandnephews and many loving friends.

A Memorial Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Graveside Service Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery, Meetinghouse Lane, Scituate, MA.

Following the graveside service, family and friends are cordially invited to join with Peter's family for a celebration of his life at the Scituate Maritime Center, 119 Edward Foster Road, Scituate, MA.
