Moira Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald-Moira Jane, age 23, of Scituate passed peacefully on October 23, 2011 surrounded by family at MA General Hospital, Boston. Moira is survived by her loving parents; Kathleen Carr of Scituate, and Gerard Fitzgerald of S. Boston. She is also survived by three adoring sisters; Colleen Fitzgerald Luzzo and her husband Michael of Shrewsbury, Kathleen Fitzgerald of Cambridge, and Meganne Fitzgerald of Quincy, as well as her little nephew Rowan James McDevitt. Moira was cared for and cherished by her loving and faithful nurse of many years, Mary Alice O’Neil. She was in the care of her compassionate Dr, Mark Vonegut for all of her 23 years. Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate on Friday, Oct. 28 at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate at 10AM. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8PM. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Scituate.
