Michael James Goulding

Michael was the loving brother of Rick and his wife Caitlin of Norwell, and Robert, Douglas, and Mary all of Scituate.

He is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and his new nephew, Bodie.

Michael graduated from Boston College High School in 2012 and from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA this past May. He hoped to use his education and skills in urban planning and regional development to help lift up those impacted by job loss and homelessness. Always following his heart and thinking of others, Michael believed strongly in the notions of empathy for and kindness toward all living things. Mike was an avid arborist and musician and enjoyed playing both acoustic and bass guitar. He also deeply enjoyed nature and spending time with his dogs, August and Amber.

A visitation will take place on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street in Scituate.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 10 Summer Street in Cohasset followed by interment at Trinity Park Cemetery in Scituate.
