Beloved wife for 52 years of J.J. Gibbons, daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Murphy) Cooper.
Mary worked 20 years as a programming director for NBC Radio in New York City.
Devoted mother of Joseph A. Gibbons and his wife Patricia of Scituate and Matthew C. Gibbons and his wife Claire of Foxboro. Grandmother of Erin, Kerry and Patricia all of Scituate, Chelsea and Christopher of Foxboro.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, April 23rd in the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate from 4pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Nativity, 1 Kent St, Scituate on Thursday, April 24th at 10AM. Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Scituate.
Mary loved life after her birth in Jersey City and will be sadly missed by her immediate family. May God’s love always be with Mary and may her soul rest in eternal peace. A kinder person was never born to match Mary’s kindness.
