Margaret E. Manning

She was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Thomas S. Manning, who preceded her in death in 2010.

Devoted mother of Judy Considine and her husband James of Scituate, John Manning and his wife Sheila of Scituate, Edwin Manning and his wife Colleen of Scituate, Nancy Macaulay and her husband Thomas Santillo of Plymouth and Richard Manning and his wife Joan of Hanover.

Cherished Grandma of Kate, Siobhan, Michael, Matthew, Thomas, Richard, Brigid and Molly and proud great grandmother of Seraphina, Lilyana and Colin.

Loving sister of the late Gertrude, Beatrice, Lelia and Mortimer. Dear mother in law of the late Peter Macaulay.

Margaret was a longtime member of the Chief Justice Cushing Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Dorchester VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. Interment to follow at Cudworth Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her late husband.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061 for the excellent care that both Margaret and her husband received in their final days.
