Devoted mother of James J. Bird, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Bonita, CA, John P. Bird and his wife Lori of Marshfield, Daniel E. Bird and his wife Angelika of Stuttgart. Germany, Colleen (Bird) Maley of Medway and the late Joseph L. Bird and Kevin Bird. Mother in law of Kathleen Bird of Hingham.

Cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Loving sister of Paul Sheehan of Stuart, FL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a proud, longtime resident of Scituate and derived great pleasure in spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchild.

Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 10 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 5-8 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
