HATCH, Lloyd F. – 94, lifelong resident of Scituate and former owner of Johnnie’s Service Station in Scituate for more than 50 years, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Bertha B. (Chandler) Hatch.
Devoted father of Janet Litz & her husband Eugene of Scituate, Grace Rizzotto & her husband Paul of Middleboro and Kristen Hill & her husband Timothy of Kingston. He took great pride in his surviving 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hatch was an active member of the First Trinitarian Congregational Church in Scituate. He had a love for animals, particularly his Beagle “Brodie,” who he could often be seen taking for walks. He was an avid gardener and a diehard Boston Bruins fan.
A funeral service will take place at the First Trinitarian Congregational Church, 381 Country Way, Scituate on Wednesday Feb. 11, 2015 at 10 AM. Burial will take place privately at a later date in the Fairview Cemetery beside his late wife.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the First Trinitarian Congregational Church.
