Kennan Ross Startzell

Startzell, Kennan Ross---60, longtime resident of Scituate, passed away June 5, 2018 at Tufts Medical Center. He was the beloved father of Kennan Ross Startzell, Jr. of Quincy, Hayden Irvin Startzell and Nolan Scott Startzell of Scituate (their mother and his former wife of 17 years, Allison Ludlow Startzell).

In addition, he is survived by his brothers, James Startzell (and Marti) of Yardley and Stanley Startzell (and Deborah Zetterberg) of Chilmark,MA.

Born in Levittown, Pa, he was the son of the late Harry Irvin and Beverly (Walton) Startzell. He graduated from Rutgers University and was inducted into their Football Hall of Fame as a placekicker. He was a soccer coach and player for many years. Kennan enjoyed playing golf, the beach and spending time with his children.

In addition, he leaves behind many nieces and nephews- Tyler and Casey Startzell, Linzy and Ben Startzell, Megan Steere, Lori Trickel and Jill Higginson.

A life celebration/memorial service will be held at the Scituate Lighthouse on June 30th, 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Father Bill's, Quincy, MA or Gosnold Center, Falmouth, MA.
