Julia “Julie” A. (Landberg) Curtis- 76, of Scituate, formerly of Quincy, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 11, 2025 at South Shore Hospital. She is the beloved wife of William Curtis, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.
Julie was born in Quincy, Massachusetts, where she graduated from Quincy High School in 1967. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Daly) Landberg. Julie was a homemaker for many years until she started working in the veterinary field as an office manager for 25 years. Julie’s many passions included cooking, gardening, music, travel and hosting family gatherings. Julie’s love for animals was always evident, especially her golden retrievers Jordie, Frankie and Dannyboy. Julie also enjoyed getting together with her many friends throughout the years.
Julie is the mother of Michael Curtis and his wife Daria of Hampton, NH, Michelle Smith and her husband Timothy of Groton, MA, and Matthew Curtis and his wife Tori of Milton, MA. She is also the loving Grandmother to Madison, Griffin, Amanda, Emily, Olivia, Lola, and Matthew.
Julie is the sister of Walter “Russ” Russel Landberg and his wife Mary of Wells, ME, and half-brother John Murch and his wife Irene of Quincy, MA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.
A visitation will be held from 11- 1 pm with a memorial service beginning at 1 pm on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, MA.
