Judith Munroe Palmer

Judith was born November 10, 1927 in Melrose Massachusetts to William and Hazel Munroe. She graduated from Melrose High School, and went on to work as a secretary for a dental lab in The Little Building in Boston. She was married to Richard O. Palmer in 1949, and they were married until his death in February 2011.

She is survived by her brother William M. Munroe; her four children - Constance Benz, Carol Palmer, Donald Palmer, and William Palmer; eight of her grandchildren - Kimberly Duncan, Jared Wessel, Stephen Benz, Rachel Bradley, Thomas Benz, Sarah Reilly, Alyssa Palmer, and Kaitlyn Palmer; and her five great-grandchildren - Diana Duncan, Noah Duncan, Olivia Bradley, Emmett Bradley, and Elliot Benz.

Judith was predeceased by her brother George Munroe, her sister Elizabeth Stevens, her husband Richard O. Palmer, and her grandson Christopher Palmer.

Judith enjoyed traveling the world and being near the ocean. She loved feeding the birds and gardening, and most of all, she truly loved spending time with her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in memory of Judith to The Audubon Society and/or Boston Children’s Hospital TSC Clinic.
