John William Dalton III

Born in Boston, he was the son of Mary (Faherty) Dalton of Scituate and the late John William Dalton Jr. John was a proud graduate of Archbishop Williams High School, class of 1984. He enjoyed long car rides and yearly trips to Cape Cod while listening to his beloved country music. John was rarely seen without an iced coffee in his hand. Above all, John enjoyed spending time with his family and always treasured the memories of boating with his father. He will be remembered for his kindness and positivity, even through the most challenging of times.

Loving brother to Deborah A. Donovan of Norton and Susan M. Cassidy and her husband Jim of South Weymouth.

Cherished uncle to Meaghan Kelly and her husband Tom; Jimmy Cassidy and his wife Nicole; Colleen Reilley and her husband Zack.

Devoted great-uncle to Thomas and Mary Kelly and Nora and Isla Cassidy.

John is also survived by his close group of Archbishop Williams High School friends.

Visitation on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 4-7pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 28 at 10am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate Harbor.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
