Jeannette T. Barke

She was the beloved wife of Richard “Dick” G. Barke Jr., with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ottavio and Florence (Dempsey) Peruzzi. Mother of Rick Barke III and his wife Chelsea of Scituate, MA and Sandra Hagan of Plymouth, MA. Loving Grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 7. Sister of William Peruzzi PhD., and his wife Margaret of Minnesota, Robert O. Peruzzi, and his wife Esther P. of Pennsylvania, Barbara Meredith and her late husband David of Connecticut, and Sister-in-law of Lynne Barke of Plymouth, MA.

She was a graduate of Quincy High School class of 1959, where she then went on to graduate from Chandler School for Women in 1962. She began working as a legal secretary for Gaston, Snow, Motley & Holt Boston, Massachusetts Law. She then went on to work for William M. Leonard, Esq.

A visitation will take place on Friday, June 21st from 3-7 pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate.
