Devoted mother of Susan Litchfield & her husband David of Norwell and James Cook & his wife Liz of Scituate.
She is survived by her granddaughters Bonnie Litchfield of Norwell, Kristin Litchfield Marques of Norwell, Alex Cook of Scituate and Coley Cook of Scituate.
She was the dear aunt of Philip Winslow and many other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cook was employed for 29 years as a bus driver for the Town of Scituate Public Schools.
During WWII, she was a fork lift operator at the Hingham Ammunition Depot.
She loved her Keno and regularly played scratch tickets. An avid knitter, she donated her creations to local churches and hospitals and made hats for premature infants. More than anything else, she loved helping to raise her granddaughters.
A funeral service will take place at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate on Thursday at 11 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4PM-7 PM. Burial will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
