Janet Therese Isbrandt

Janet was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Northern Illinois University. She moved from Evanston, Illinois to Scituate in 1982. She worked as office manager for Prudential Insurance both in Chicago and Boston as well as office manager for Scituate Pediatrics nearly 20 years.

Janet enjoyed working with people professionally and attended group pool therapy at South Shore Hospital for many years. Janet had fond memories of travel to London, Paris, Germany, Maine, Cape Cod and the Islands, going to Cubs, Red Sox games but loved her south side White Sox. She enjoyed cooking and cooking channels as well as watching classic movies.

She was very active at Christ Lutheran Church and served on a space study committee with the town of Scituate.

Janet was the loving wife of David Isbrandt. Cherished mother of Scott D. Isbrandt, his wife Georgette of Natick, Laura A. Isbrandt of Kingston and Ross A. Isbrandt of Scituate. Beloved grandmother to Vanessa, Owen and Ethan. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Kathy A. Liese of Indian Head, IL. She was predeceased by her brother Herbert F. Liese.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 460 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate on Saturday May 11, 2024 at 12pm. Private burial services to be held at Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic, Ct.

Donations may be made to Norwell Visiting Nurse Association / Caregiver Support Group by Joan Wright or a memorial to Christ Lutheran Church - handicap lift project.
