Elizabeth R Donovan

Betsy was born in Quincy and was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School class of 1956. She received her R.N. from the Laboure' School of Nursing in 1959. She lived in Scituate 50 years and was employed as a nurse on South Shore area for over 44 years, working many of those years as a staff nurse with Dr. Hillel I. Hochman in Quincy. After retiring in 2004, Betsy enjoyed spending time with her 12 grandchildren.

Loving Mother of Mark Donovan and his wife Suzanne of Scituate, John-Paul and his wife Lorene of Cumberland ME, Gerard and his wife Catherine of Hockessin DE, Julie Donovan-Rathbun and her husband Michael of St. Gorge's, Bermuda and Michael and his wife Christine of Milton, MA. She is also survived by her brother John T. McMahon of Ft. Lauderdale FL and Grandchildren Eric, Jennifer, Gregory, Kelsey, Kevin, Mary, Shannon, Austin, Mitchel, Brendan, Sean and Colin.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 18th at 11AM in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St, Scituate.
