Cody David Sullivan

Born in East Taunton, MA, he was the beloved son of Peter D. Sullivan and Jean (MacInnis) Sullivan and the loving brother to Molly K. Sullivan of Scituate. Cody had a very special bond with his sister Molly who in his later years became his best friend.

He also leaves behind his girlfriend who he dearly loved and planned his future with, Katie Reilly of Rockport. He had so many wonderful memories with his girlfriend Katie, they loved to travel, cook and spend time with their friends.

Cody was the devoted grandson of the late John D. and Adele MacInnis of Quincy, David F. and Kathleen Sullivan of Quincy. Also predeceased by Aunts Kate and Frani Sullivan. He leaves behind his Aunts and Uncles Karen Evans, Rob & Colleen Sullivan, Brenda Perroni & Bruce Reeh, Mary Rose & Ken Ericsson, John (Shawn) MacInnis & Michelle Benoit, Fr. Michael MacInnis, and adopted Uncle Fr. Thomas Washburn whom he loved and cherished, as well as many cousins whom he adored. He had a very close connection with his Godparents, Fr. Michael MacInnis and Mary Rose Ericsson.

Cody’s friends were so important to him, his special life-long friends called themselves “The Fab Five”. All Cody’s friends were his extended family. They shared so many laughs when they were together. Cody was the life of the party and loved to make people laugh, and he continues to do so. Cody loved sports of all kinds. He was a rabid Dallas Cowboys, Celtics and Red Sox fan.

He was a graduate of Scituate High School and Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

Cody was in a job that he loved at Harvard University as Facilities Manager on the Operations Team for Harvard Business School. Cody was in a very happy place in his life. He will be missed dearly.

A visitation will be held at Richardson - Gaffey Funeral Home in Scituate on Friday October 4, 2024 from Time 3pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday October 5, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate.
