Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Lisa Kathleen Coffey Dunphy and her husband Kevin of Hanover and Sheila Marie Coffey and Jonathan Keefe of Plymouth; one brother, Richard A. Daniels of Scituate, with whom God reunited her after a 63 year separation; one nephew, Timothy R. Daniels and his wife Laurae; and one great nephew, Hudson A. Daniels, all of Long Island, NY.
She also leaves six wonderful friends, Janet, Sherry, Sara, Kay, Joan and Warren. Thank you for your loyalty, prayers and for always being there when needed.
Mrs. Coffey loved animals and leaves Petey the “Wonder Dog;” four cats, Dublin, Dixie, Dusty and Duncan; two birds, Violet and Boing Boing; and dogs, Daizey May and Sarge.
The family would like to thank her caregivers for the kind and compassionate care she received throughout her illness, helping to make her final months happy ones.
Mrs. Coffey was retired from the Scituate Public School system, where she worked in Special Education.
She volunteered at the Scituate Animal Shelter for 20 years and for the American Red Cross and Scituate Visitors Center.
A funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. Visiting hours omitted. A private interment will take place at Fairmount Cemetery, East Weymouth, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Mary of the Nativity Church.
