Amy Hollingshead Connell

Amy (Hollingshead) Connell, 64, of Scituate, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2016. Amy is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Richard A. Connell, III, loving children Richard A. Connell, IV and wife Kerri of Marshfield, Alison (Connell) Lounsbury and husband Mark of Taunton and Emily (Connell) Generous and husband Lee of Marshfield. Dear sister of Kimberly Michaels of Basking Ridge, NJ, Joanne Busteed of Salem, MA and Jean Whitney of Shutesbury, MA, cherished grandmother of Scarlett and Ava.

Amy’s greatest passions in life were children and animals. She dedicated her professional life to her love of children and spent fifteen years working as a teacher with Stepping Stones Nursery School in Hanover, MA followed by a ten year career as a paraprofessional with the Pembroke Public School system in Pembroke, MA.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
