Alex Frank Haigh

Alex was born November 2, 1966 and was the only beloved child to the late Grace (Shapiro) and David Haigh. A graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School and Roger Williams University, Alex was a successful sales executive at Cox Communications where his colleagues became his Cox family.

In 2010, Alex had the pleasure of meeting Carolyn (Pizura), his beautiful wife. He treasured their joyous laughter and love-filled marriage, along with Colt, Gunner, and Morty.

Alex enjoyed long drives with Carolyn, exploring new restaurants, the SHYC, boat rafting with the Sandhills crew, weekends away to Vermont, and shopping. Alex loved the Scituate Beach Association where his true comedic gift shined as the auctioneer, keeping everyone rolling in laughter with his quick wit.

Alex’s chosen family of the Browns, Hamels, O’Donoghues, and the entire Sandhills crew will continue to honor his legacy by living life to the fullest and infusing humor into every day.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, 2 Summer St, Cohasset on Saturday, March 25 at 10:00 AM; burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday 4:00-8:00 PM at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Alex may be made to the Scituate Beach Association, PO Box 39, Scituate, MA 02066.
