Phillip Earl Royer, 62, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 27, 2017. Born on December 13, 1954 in his home on S. Market St., Schaefferstown, Phil was the son of the late Earl L. Royer and Sylvia M. (Ober) Royer. He attended Open Door Baptist Church in Lebanon, PA was a faithful employee of A & H Industries in Myerstown, PA for 37 years, and was a faithful husband to his beloved wife of 43 years, Loretta J. (Long) Royer. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting and trapping. Phil is survived by his sister, Louise Hoshower, wife of the late Donald Hoshower of Lancaster, PA; daughter, Tammy L. (Royer) Clark and her husband James W. Clark of Windsor, CT; and twin daughters Melissa and Michele Royer of Lebanon, PA as well as his 5 grandchildren, Johanna, Nathanael, Isaiah, Isaac and Philip Clark, and two nieces Victoria and Stephanie Hoshower. He was predeceased by his sister, Beverly Royer of Schaefferstown, PA. Funeral service will be held at the Clauser Funeral Home, 120 N. Carpenter Street, Schaefferstown at 11 am on Friday, June 2, 2017 with a viewing beginning on 10 am. Interment will be made at Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Open Door Baptist Church, 875 Academy Drive, Lebanon, PA 17046.
