Megan Rose Walmer

Megan Rose Walmer, 26, passed away Thursday, January 22nd at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Born on October 25, 1988, she was the daughter of John “Wally” Walmer and Rose (Wenger) Walmer of Myerstown.

Megan was employed by Wengers of Myerstown as a Marketing Manager. A loving daughter, sister, fiancé and friend, she was a member of the Church of the Brethren, the Brethren Disaster Relief Heifer Committee, and coordinated the annual Wenger Foundation Praise Dinner.

She was a 2007 graduate of Eastern Lebanon County High School, a 2010 graduate of Elizabethtown College, and recently completed her Master’s degree in Leadership Development at the Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown.

Megan is survived by parents Rose and Wally Walmer, fiancé Shawn Kramer, siblings Jake Walmer (Hannah Bomgardner), Molly Dubble (Jonathan Dubble), maternal grandparents Carl and Margaret Wenger, paternal grandparents Woodrow Walmer and the late Fern Walmer, as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Clauser Funeral Home (www.clauserfh.com). A private family viewing and burial will be held. The public is invited to attend a Celebration of Life service at Midway Church of the Brethren, 13 Evergreen Road, Lebanon, PA on Tuesday, January 27th at 6:30 pm. Family and friends will be received in the Family Life Center at Midway following the service.
