Marion L Sechrist

Marion L. Sechrist, 93, of Waldeck, PA, died Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Eden B. Sechrist. She was born December 14, 1917 in Schaefferstown a daughter of the late Elmer and Edna Lane Rudy. Marion was the previous owner for 43 years of the Kleinfeltersville Hotel and a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Schaefferstown. She is survived by a daughter, Rachel S. wife of James Ober with whom she resided for the last 12 years; sister, Isabel Binner of Lebanon; grandson, Scott R. Sechrist of Shamokin, PA; daughter in law, Dianna Shade of Hamburg, PA. She was preceded in death by sons, Robert E. Sechrist and Arthur D. Sechrist; grandsons, Michael R. Sechrist and Jeffrey D. Sechrist; brother, Eugene Rudy; sister, Esther Kohl and infant sister, Effie Rudy. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the St. Luke Lutheran Church, 107 E. Main St., Schaefferstown, PA 17088. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her church.
