Lynnwood L. “Luke” Moyer, 73 of Myerstown passed away in Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital on Sunday, February 25, 2024. He was born in North Heidelberg Township, Berks County, a son of the late Harold D. Sr. and Martha (Ream) Moyer. Luke was the husband of Rosalie (Bucher) Moyer to whom he was married to for 51 years. Mr. Moyer was retired from AWI where he worked in Maintenance. He was a member of the North Heidelberg Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters: Tanya M. Miller of Myerstown and Wendy M. Hinson (Daniel) of Newmanstown; sisters: Carletta Potteiger of Wernersville and Melinda Schaeffer (John) of Bernville; numerous nieces and nephews. Luke was predeceased by his sisters: Geraldine Shay and Mary Ellen Gassert; brothers: Ronald Moyer and Harold D. Moyer Jr. A funeral service will be held in the Clauser Funeral Home Inc, 116 N. Carpenter St, Schaefferstown, PA, 17088 on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 10:00AM with a viewing from 9:00AM until the time of the service.
