Joyce Y. Miller

Joyce was a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. She had an affinity for shopping, collecting Longaberger baskets and most of all loved spending time with her family and friends.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, she was determined not only to fight it, but to do so with a positive attitude and a smile on her face while continuing to think of and put others first. She was an inspiration and role model to everyone who had the pleasure of being around her throughout. That legacy and her memory will live on through the lives of those that she touched.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Lawrence Miller; her parents, Mary Ellen & Kermit Kreiser; her sister Kelly Miller; her sons, Joshua Gundrum, Matthew Gundrum and his wife Tricia; stepchildren, Travis Miller, Seth Miller & Brooke Miller and her grandchildren; Alexus, Adam, Brynn and Chase.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Joyce’s name to Concordia Lutheran Ministries. Please be sure to indicate that your donation should be directed to Good Samaritan Hospice House, 3500 Brooktree Road, Suite 320, Wexford, PA 15090, for their outstanding care and support during the family’s time of need.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday March 26th at 1:00pm at the Zion United Methodist Church in Schaefferstown, PA. Clauser Funeral Home, Inc. is handling her memorial service.
