Donald H. Rhine, 79, formerly of Heidelberg Township, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Ruth M. Zellers Rhine. He was born in Rehrersburg on December 16, 1932, a son of the late Howard F. and Annie Ritzman Rhine. Donald was employed for 17 years at PRL in Cornwall. He was a member of the United Christian Church in Newmasntown where he served as the church treasurer for over 40 years and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by several cousins and a niece, Sandra Eberly. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the United Christian Church, S. Sheridan Road and Memorial Blvd., Newmanstown, with a viewing beginning on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be made in the Millbach Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to his church. Clauser Funeral Home, Inc. is handling his arrangements.
