Beatrice J. Strickler, 98, formerly of Newmanstown, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in Cedar Haven, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Peter Strickler. She was born in Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County on June 28, 1920, a daughter of the late Harvey and Rebecca Ream Stohler. Beatrice was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Kleinfeltersville. She was an artist and enjoyed designing her own clothing. She is survived by a daughter, Anne R. Burkholder of Newmanstown; grandchildren, Christopher Strickler, Peter Strickler, Andrew Strickler and Lauren Sanchez; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James Strickler; brothers, Harry and Norman Stohler; sisters, Mary Page and Elumia Wike. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm in Clauser Funeral Home, Inc., 116 N. Carpenter Street, Schaefferstown, with a viewing beginning on Monday at 1:00 pm.
