Mary Ann Abruzese was born in New York City in 1919. She was the widow of Joseph Abruzese. She was one of six children of Beatrice and Benjamin Catenacci and is survived by her sister Gemma Cosgrove. She has 3 daughters, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons.
Mary Ann lived a full life, had good health and worked in White Plains till she was 95 years old. Her lengthy career started as the secretary to Mayor Impellitteri of New York City where she was part of a diplomatic trip after WWII to both Italy and Israel. She also worked for Walter D. Fletcher and his wife Eleanor where she was fortunate enough to meet with esteemed clients like Charles Lindberg.
She travelled extensively over the years, enjoyed her home on Long Beach Island and was a longtime resident of Hartsdale and Scarsdale New York.
