Kevin Devaney, age 74, of Eastchester, New York passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, January 18, 2024. Kevin was born in New York City on July 20th 1949 to the late Patrick and Mary Devaney, who emigrated from Ireland. Kevin married his best friend Karen (Cade) on September 27th, 1968 and they raised their family in Eastchester. Kevin owned and operated Scarsdale Limousine for 40 years.
Kevin is survived by his wife Karen, his daughters Karen Mary Devaney and Erin Baker (James) and his son Kevin Devaney Jr. (Donna) and five grandchildren, Ellie and James Baker, Daria, Devin and Dylan Devaney. Also surviving is his brother PJ Devaney in addition to many nieces and nephews.
Kevin was happiest spending time with his family. A true family man, who was there to meet the needs of anyone who needed him, any time of day for whatever task was needed. He was most devoted to his daughter Karen, who was born with Cerebral Palsy in 1972. During his illness, his main concern was her care and her happiness.
