He is also survived by numerous loving extended family and friends.
Frank was most proud of his role as family patriarch. Always quick to give you his guidance and share his wisdom and knowledge. He loved having family gatherings and considered his family his greatest and most precious treasure. It was not unusual to see his home visited often by family and friends. Frank warmly welcomed new members of the family with enthusiasm and genuine love.
Frank was honored and proud to have served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. He believed being a US Veteran was one of his greatest achievements. It was with considerable pride and integrity that he wore his World War II Veteran's baseball cap and would humbly accept the gratitude and appreciation from others for his service.
Frank had two great passions in life: the sea and gardening. His first passion was spending time on the water in his boat and fishing, creating memories with family and friends. And if he wasn’t catching fish he was eating it. His favorite meal was Zuppa di Pesce which he always shared with his lifelong partner Mary.
Frank was passionate about gardening. When residing in the Bronx, he had a garden that that stretched from one block to the next. While living in Eastchester, he continued his love of gardening, sharing with family the fruits of his labor. He took pleasure in learning how best to grow his vegetables and flowers, not only for his pleasure, but for the pleasure of his entire family and friends.
Frank's life will forever be honored, cherished, celebrated and missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. R.I.P our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend.
