BENNETT, Robert Bruce (1927-2024) – It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Bennett who died at North York General Hospital just two weeks after celebrating his 97th birthday. He was predeceased by his loving wife Maxine and survived by his children Michael (Joanne), Stephen, Jayne (Doug) and Richard (Maria). Cherished grandfather of Steven (Katrina), Taylor, Victoria and Robert, and his great granddaughter Kate. He will be dearly missed by his cherished friend Nancy O’Donnell.
Bruce was born and raised in the Beach and graduated from U of T in Engineering. HIs passions were travelling, bridge and golf (even managing a few hole-in-ones in his lifetime) and he delighted in spending time at his cottage on Lake Kashwakamak. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
