It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Neil Anthony Smith, on April 8th, 2024 at the age of 92, in the comfort of his home.
Neil is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Smith (Chayka), of 63 years and will be forever missed by his 2 sons, Russell & Stephen & his ‘almost daughter’, Jannine.
Neil adored and was adored by his two granddaughters, Rheanne & Aleah who will miss him greatly.
Predeceased by siblings: Sister Rita Smith, Helen Burkholder (Murray) & Paul Smith (survived by Janet). Survived by siblings: Sister Mary Doreen Smith, Rose Anne Mullally (Des), Jeanette Brimner (Jim) & his numerous nieces & nephews.
In honour of Neil’s life, a service will be held at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home 1939 Lawrence Ave. E, Scarborough, ON M1R 2Y8 on Friday April 19th at 11:00am. Friends and family are welcome at the funeral home an hour prior to the service.
