She stayed strong even though her health had been failing for years. After being given only one month to live in 2015, Maureen survived and pushed through another five years. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. Her joy for life and the love for her family kept her hanging on.
Maureen had a vivacious personality and always made the people around her laugh and feel loved. She made friends everywhere she went and anyone you ask will tell you how much they loved “Moe”.
As we all know, Moe LOVED her smokes, relished her potato chips and enjoyed going for long, long walks to wherever her heart brought her.
Maureen treasured her radios. She was a huge fan of music and was always ready to bust a move.
Maureen grew up on a farm in Sunderland, ON. As a child, she could be found anywhere around the barn with her horses or teaching her siblings how to ride. She also had a fondness for many feline friends over the years.
Maureen was born to the late Francis and Dorthy Doyle, August 2nd, 1953, in Lindsay, Ontario.
