Grandma was always a constant in my entire life.  From helping her make a Rosary, to her watching my baseball games (and watching the bluejays), to Barbeques to holiday dinners with euchre and many more. Every memory i have was always just her being full of love and happiness with everything she did.
Rest in peace Grandma,  We will all miss you.

Elva always seemed to be happy and have a smile on her face, she will be missed. Condolences from Chris and Treanna Bates.

Our deepest sympathy to Michael, Gerald, Roderick and their families. Matante Elva was a joly and very lovely person. 
She liked to come for a visit to New Brunswick, her birth place. She always wanted to see everyone. She enjoyed going to the cottage at the  beach for a nice supper and a good game of cards. 
She talked a lot of her boys. How good they were to her. She was very proud of her three boys. 
She will be missed a lot.

I had the privilege of growing up with my Grandma as my neighbour, a consistent presence in my life. Watching our baseball games in the summer, or popping over for bbqs. The six of us was just a given for every holiday; with Grandma walking through the door by 4pm carrying her green tupperware of 'Grandma's salad' and a tray of devilled eggs. I was her first (and only) Granddaughter, but i truly knew i had made it when i became her permanent euchre partner. After every holiday dinner the cards would come out, and our opponents always rotated but we never wavered. She stuck by me when i made rookie mistakes until i was calling suits on a King/10 like she would. She was my constant. You played a good game Grandma, Rest in Peace partner.

Je garde d'excellent souvenir de  nos parties de cartes, conversations, éclat de rire et autre moments passé ensemble!
  Tu va nous manquer, mais je sais que le Seigneur te gardes une belle place à ses côtés ou tu attend que l'on vienne te rejoindre!

Je garde en mémoire une tante dynamique, qui aimait bien rire et jouer aux cartes... elle aimait dire qu'elle était ou ramenait la pollution de Toronto quand elle nous visitait. Elle va veiller sur toute sa grande famille... Mes sympathies à tous ceux qu'elle a laissé dans le deuil xx😘

I'm lucky to have had nearly 39 years with my grandmother.   I remember her being there when I played baseball growing up, to volunteering with her at Providence Healthcare 25 years earlier to spending time with her there in her last few weeks.  No matter how hard I tried to get her to admit I was her favorite grandson she wouldn't say, but she did say Kristle was probably her favorite granddaughter.  She was a sweet soul who never had a malicious bone in her body.  I love you Grandma, be at peace.

My sincere condolences to my cousins Michael, Gerald and Roderick and their families for this loss. Also to all my aunts and uncles who lost their sister. I remember my aunt Elva on her many visits to Montreal, she was always a lively and joyful person. She offered us great support when her sister Jeannette (my mother) passed in 2007. She will be missed by all.
