Yvonne and I are so saddened to hear of the heartbreaking loss of Daisy to her husband, children,  family and friends.  Ozzie; I recall how fondly you talked of Daisy and how you expressed your love  when you shared personal examples when doing presentations.  It made everyone feel we knew her.  Breast cancer is horrible and so unfair.  I truly hope memories of the joy she brought to peoples' lives ultimately bring comfort to everyone grieving this devastating loss. My condolences to the family of Daisy. May you find the comfort and strength in this time. I am lucky to have worked with Daisy at Craiglee even if it was just for a short time. She had always motivated me to do better as a manager. I will never forget her guidance, her words of encouragement and her sincerity. When work gets tough, she would always ask me, “do you need a hug?”, and she would give me the warmest and the biggest hug to make me feel okay. She would always talk about her boys, she was really proud of them, and even Betsie. Even when she was not feeling well, she tried her best to come to work, she was very dedicated. Daisy, may your beautiful soul rest in peace and always look after your family from up above. We will miss you and you are loved!

My work at the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, allowed me the opportunity to know Daisy for many years as a compassionate and caring director of care at Elm Grove. We always started our meetings catching up on family and life. She ALWAYS spoke so proudly of her boys and was glad to add a "girl" to her home with the addition of Betsie!!
