I went through my photo album of my pictures with Brett. Here is a photo of us having lunch at a Restaurant in Disney World. Probably my favourite memory of Brett. I still remember the day we met. I was holding my baseball glove and he saw me. He asked if I wanted to play catch, so we went to his house. That resulted in a 25 year friendship which I will always be grateful for. My memories will always be of all the fun times we had. I just wanted to share this photo of us together. I wish to offer my deepest condolences to his family. Yours truly, Vincent Lem

To My best friend Brett:
     It is with deep sadness that I lost contact with you for many years. We were friends for 25 years and lived just a few blocks away. We went to Disney World, saw concerts, watched movies and had donuts together. I always wondered what you were up to. For some reason I wanted to do a search and came upon this. I am very shocked to learn of your passing. You were my best friend and I am glad I got the chance to tell you that. I got to meet your partner and cousin and it was fun going to your home, visiting, seeing your sister and mum. To Ray, I will always remember Brett and all the good times we had. May God bless you and I want you to know I will always remember Brett who I still call my best Friend.

My doubles partner, travel agent and friend - he always asked if I wanted us to win our matches and he did just that!  You'll be truly missed.  My sincerest condolences to Brett's family and friends.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Brett through playing Monday and Friday night doubles tennis as well as talking about practically every sport before and after matches.  He was a terrific individual to spend time with and I'll really miss our tennis games and sports chats.  He gave me a tennis racquet to try out last year and said to keep it for a few weeks to see how I liked it.  Loved playing with it but he wouldn't take it back.  Told me that he had about four other racquets so he was good.  That was Brett - always looking out for others and seeing that they were enjoying life. :)  Brett, you'll be missed so much, my friend. :(

To Brett's Mum, Ray, we were so sad to hear of Brett's passing and send our love,  our sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy from all of us here in Scotland. Xx

Brett it was a privilege to know you. You were the loveliest of guys.  So caring and lovely to everyone and the â€˜best brother ever' to Roseann who adored you. We so enjoyed your visit with Lammie to Scotland and you'll be sadly missed by us all. .xx

I'm sorry to hear about Brett's passing.  I met Brett on several occasions through our mutual friend Frank in Toronto. I always enjoyed meeting Brett and I know that he will be missed.

Brett played on my C1 STF tennis team.  He was one of the most reliable players. I just had to let him know where and when and he was there!  He will be dearly missed.

Brett .. You will be missed on and off tennis court. You will be always be a winner !


Our deepest condolences to Brett's family

We met Brett over 30 years ago at Grahams Travel in West Hill, he was alway helpful, honest and went out of his way to get you the best Vacation possible. He always had a Big Smile.


On behalf of my wife, Ethel and myself, we offer our deepest condolences. We got introduced to Brett in the mid 1980's as our travel agent. My wife finally got to meet him for the first time many years later when we attended a April Wine concert. Brett, loved and respected by many will always be missed but never forgotten.

My sincere condolences to Brett's Mom and loved ones. I met Brett in Varadero, Cuba along with fellow travel agents Frank and Lewis in approx. 1998. The four of us remained friends from then on. Brett has now joined Lewis who passed 4 years ago. May they rest in peace.

I got to know Brett through a mutual friend, Frank. Brett was a great guy who was a joy to be with.

One day Brett rushed out of his car and gave me a bear hug in the street as he heard I had been ill and we talked for a long long time.

I got to know Brett through my daily walks and a mutual friend and also our love of tennis although I currently didn't play at his club. He was so strong the last few years and really enjoyed his travels with Lammie whom I only met once about 6 weeks on my walk. You made him very happy Lammie as he spoke about you often. One day Brett rushed out of his car and gave me a big bear hug as he heard I had been unwell and we had a long talk. Rest in peace Brett.

We have lost a good friend and a great tennis partner.

He was also our fabulous travel agent for many years.

Brett will be fondly remembered by his many friends at Curran Hall Park Tennis Club.
