Thinking of  Aunt Chrissie and all the extended Long family at this sad time . The very brief time I spent with you all in Scarborough in 1989 was a joy and a very happy memory indeed. Uncle Willie met me at the train station ,We both held big cards with our names on as we had not met before  ,We didnt need them He looked exactly like an older version of my brother William Gerard after whom my brother was named & I looked similar to my father Jack so he recognised me straight away ! We laughed and gave each other a huge hug . I remember sitting  with him as he showed me photos of him arriving in Canada  in the 1950's . He was happy and proud ,he had made a good life for himself  as so many Irish Immigrants have done all over the world . May he rest in Peace and may he be met by his brothers and sisters at last .
