Ann (Nan) was born in Glasgow Scotland on October 11, 1929 and passed away in Toronto on August 28th, 2022.
She was recently predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Sean and leaves Brian (Margaret), Sheila (Nikolaos) and Colm (Marie). Her son Sean (Tracey) predeceased her in 2006.
Nan will be missed by her grandchildren John (Carly), Mairead (Chris), Paul (Jess), Patrick (Abi), Roisin, Declan and George and great grandchildren, Molly, Maeve Ann, Aaron John, Lily Ann, Sofia, Nikolaos, Callie and Sean. Ann leaves behind her brother in law, Larry Flood (Irene) of Cobourg, Ontario, and many nieces and nephews in Ireland, England, Bahamas, Dubai, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. Ann was predeceased by her brothers John Innes, Tommy, Jimmy and Denis Coyle and sister Agnes Kemp.
Mum was beloved by all who met her. She was a devoted partner to Sean, a great mother to her children and a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. Mum also devoted many years to the CWL at St Rose of Lima Parish. She never forgot her Scottish roots and her recipes will remind us of her for years to come.
Thank you to all the caregivers and staff at McCowan Retirement Residence and Providence Healthcare in Toronto. Their kindness and dedication are an inspiration.
Funeral mass will be at St Rose of Lima Church, 3216 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough on Tuesday September 6th at 10AM. Reception to follow at the Toronto Hunt Club, 1335 Kingston Road (jacket required).
