Mr. Thomas E. Johnson

Thomas Edward Johnson, 84, entered into rest on Monday, December 15, 2014. Thomas was born on August 6, 1930 in Savannah, Georgia. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, Army, and Navy before going to work as an Industrial Engineer in Civil Service for the United States Government. Thomas was an alumnus of North Carolina State University; Class of 1955. He loved classical music and was an electronic enthusiast. Most of all, he loved his family dearly and loved the city of Savannah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Huriah and Costance Johnson; son, T.J. Johnson and daughter Jennifer Johnson. His memory will be forever treasured by his loving wife, Barbara Johnson of 54 years, daughters; Susan Johnson Davis (Robert), and Diane Johnson and 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and also numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, at 2:00 PM on December 22, 2014 at Fairhaven Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel. There will be a Memorial Gathering 1 hr. prior to the service.
