Patricia Ann Oglesby Lewis

away peacefully on Monday evening, Aug 17, 2015, at St.

Joseph’s Hospital after battling a severe illness. She

passed away surrounded by the ones that she held most

dear, and by the ones who loved her the most.

Patricia was born and raised in Twin City, GA and

attended the local schools. She has lived in Savannah

most of her adult life. She was a homemaker and was of

Baptist faith.

Patricia was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.

She was truly one of kind. Her whole life revolved around

her only son, whom she devoted her life to. In her later

years, her son Bryan returned the love for his mother and

dedicated himself to her every need. She was lovingly

cared for by Bryan, and his wife Trina. Known to her

grandchildren as “nanny”, she remains loved, cherished,

and will be greatly missed by all those who were

privileged enough to meet and know her. May she rest

eternally in peace.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Bryan and

Trina Skrine, two grandsons Bryan K. Skrine II and

Kenneth C. Skrine; two brothers Rev. Wade McBride of

Oak Park, GA, and Johnny McBride of Waynesboro, GA; three great grand-children, Destini, Adrien and Bryan

A visitation will be held Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00pm, at

Fairhaven Funeral Home - Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

The Funeral Service will be on Friday at 1:00pm in the

Chapel at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with burial to follow in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
