Mr. Marion will be missed as he was fun to sit down and talk to with all the other older gentlemen in the mall.  I enjoyed his guitar playing too ... God bless his family during this time of loss for them ...

Have known Marion since 1956 and enjoyed working with him at CSX and very much enjoyed the retirement dinners with him .  He was a good man and will be greatly missed . Our thoughts and prayers are with the  family during this time.

I knew Uncle Buddy as a truly special man--a gentle soul as someone else wrote.  He was such fun to talk with after my mall walk.  My condolences to the family and may memories of those fun times flow back and replace the sadness.  May God bless and keep you all.

We really enjoyed watching Buddy play, and seeing all the happiness it brought to him. Buddy always had a smile for everyone and the Grace of a true Gentleman. We will miss Buddy but are rejoicing for him as he has been called home to the glory we all await. We know Buddy and David Hardy are together for sure. Lovingly always in Christ.

buddy sure was a fine fellow,he had wisdom way beyond his years.every time i saw him,he would joke and carry on.but if something was of serious nature he always had good advice.he would listen to every word. genial and kind.my heart felt prayers to all his family

Words fall short when it comes to how much I'll miss buddy. He's part of the greatest generation, who's members are dwindling every day. His values on life, music, and love of country have made me a better person. My only regret, we didn't meet sooner. My Prayers go out to his family at this time.

Uncle Buddy, to me was a special person. he was the only brother my mother (Marion Dean) really knew. she spoke of him often before she passed away. Now, when I go home to Savannah I would try to see him each time I was there. I will miss that connection to my pass. I will be praying for Aunt Jackie and the rest of the family. prayers to all. Mr. Buddy was a good man who will be missed by many, he never came into a room without speaking to you and shaking your hand. I can honestly say that Buddy was a great friend. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. My condolences to his family. There will never be a gathering of the musicians who knew him that those same people will not carry a part of the love Buddy brought and embraced.
