Julia Hammond Turner

She was born in Anniston, AL. and a member of The Light.

She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and was a ,humorous person and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by Husband, Herbert L. Turner, brother, Phillip Hammond and parents, Porter Hammond and Willie Belle Hammond.

She is survived by one son, Charles Turner (Dana) of Andersonville, TN.; three daughters, Hilda Ann Vandegraft (Bob) of Wilmington IL., Cheryl Kay Norwood (Bill) of Richmond Hill, GA., and Melanie Turner of Savannah, Ga.;4 brothers, Clarence , Hugo, Kenneth and Cecil Hammond; 1 sister, Joyce Ward; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be at 2 pm Monday February 23, 2015 at Greenwich Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5 – 8 pm Sunday at her home.
