Mrs Genevieve Virginia Moore Silva

Genevieve Virginia Moore Silva, of Savannah, died Tuesday, Jan 8, 2013 at Azalealand Nursing Home, under the care of Hospice Savannah.She was born in Savannah, Ga., and was a Communicant of St. James Catholic Church. She had formerly worked for many years at The Hat Shop, and was also associated with Silva’s Book Store for over 25 years, which was located on Whitaker Street near State Street. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James E. Silva, of Savannah,Ga; 2 nieces, Angela & Mike Milton, and Rose Edenfield, all of Midway, Ga., a sister in law, Grace Silva Cabaniss, Savannah, Ga., and several great nieces and great nephews. Visitation: 1 – 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan 12, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial: 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan 12, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church, with interment in Bonaventure Cemetery.
