Barbara A. Snider

Mrs. Barbara Hendrix Snider, age 79, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. She was a native of Chatham County and married the love of her life William W. Snider in 1952. They traveled together throughout the world while Mr. Snider was in the Air Force. In 1971 they came back to Savannah to enjoy their lives together. Mrs. Snider was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband William W. Snider of Savannah; one son William W. Snider, Jr. of St. Simons Island. Two daughters Theresa Ann Vigrass and Peggy Lynn Bacot (Roger) both of Savannah. One brother Lester Earl Hendrix of Georgia, 3 grandchildren Johnathon Vigrass, Christopher Snider and Jennifer Snider. 4 Great Grandchildren Ashley M. Oliver, Jacob W. Oliver, Emily M. Oliver and Hannah Snider.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00pm in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel with Rev. Al Smith

Burial will be in the Greenwich Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Johnathon Vigrass, Christopher Snider, Carson Underwood, Rick Watson, and Roger Bacot.

Visitation will be held Friday night June 5th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. A funeral will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Temple, 4625 Waters Avenue, Savannah, GA 31404.
