Arileen Gavitt Richey

Arileen G. McGehee Richey ( October 4, 1926 – July 26, 2014) of Savannah, Ga., formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2014. She is survived by two daughters, F. Deborah Thomas of Savannah, GA and Hope Kathleen Horning and her husband Donald of Seal Beach, CA; five grandchildren, Richard G. Thomas and his wife Abigail, Robert W. Thomas, S. Russell Horning, Sheridan M. Horning and David Horning Ryan; one great-grandchild, Owen R. Thomas. She was preceded in death by a son, David W. McGehee, her husband, Senour B. Richey and former husband, Thomas L. McGehee. She was a member of Savannah’s St. George’s Episcopal Church and Ruth Chapter One. Order of the Eastern Star, the first order in the U.S.A. Arrangements for a memorial service at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Savannah, GA. are pending. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to St. George’s Episcopal Church’s priest discretionary fund.
