PERKINS, Royden “Roy” – Peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his parents Oscar and Margaret (nee Munroe) Perkins. Beloved husband of Ann Mooney and predeceased by Theresa Bro-Lee Perkins. Predeceased by his children Daniel Perkins (Jennifer) of Echo Bay, Jean Irving (late Joe) of Sault Ste. Marie and Earl (Isabelle) of Winnipeg. Dear step-father of Jimmy Mooney of Brampton, David Mooney of Vancouver, Trish Brubacher (Dave) of Richmond Hill and Cathy Bellerose (Phil) of Sault Ste. Marie. Loving grandfather of Wendy Stainthorpe of Elliot Lake, Steven Perkins (Cathy) of Toronto, Dwayne London (Pamela) of Sault Ste. Marie and Kevin Perkins (Lisa) of Blind River. Loving step-grandfather of Diandra Bellerose (Justin McConnell) of Sault Ste. Marie, James Brubacher (Amy) of Aurora, Keshia Brubacher of Richmond Hill and Robert Brubacher of Richmond Hill. Devoted great grandfather of Travis Laycock, Joshua and Jacob Stainthorpe of Elliot Lake, Eden, Serena and Daniel Perkins of Toronto, Liam and Mason Perkins of Blind River and Mason Brubacher of Aurora. Loved brother of Ronald Perkins (Von Delle) of Fairvail and predeceased by siblings Marjorie McElroy (late Stanley), George Perkins (late Helen), Donald Perkins (late Helen), Ken Perkins (late Frances), Florence London (late Bayard), Lloyd Perkins (Georgina), Doreen Armstrong (Bud), Lawrence Perkins (Sybill), Ralph Perkins and Doris Perkins. Roy will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Roy will be missed by his friends and hunting buddies. A Memorial Service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 1 pm. Rev. Patrick McManus officiating. Memorial contributions to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family.
