GENDRON, Raymond Albert – Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the age of 77 with family at his side. Best friend, soulmate and loving husband of Cecile (Cis) for 46 years. Caring, loving father of Andree Gendron (Régis Goulet), Johanne Gendron (Will Andrews) and Nancy Gendron (Trevor Davies). Step-dad of Debra Pringle (Paul). Proud Papa of 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Yvon Gendron (Yvonnette), Yvette Gallant (Terry) and Monette Bernard (Hazen). Predeceased by his parents Emilia Couture and Hormidas Gendron and siblings Rose Gendron, Tilly Gendron and Anita Gendron. Brother-in-law of Cecile’s twin sister, the late Pauline Alscbach (late Dave). Special uncle of Rob and Lorry Smith. Ray will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ray was very devoted to his family. They came first. He was a hard worker who successfully ran his own Frito-Lay franchise. Ray was also known for his carpentry talent, his love of fishing, camping, boating and down-hill skiing. In 1988/89 he sponsored the AA Midget hockey team “Frito-Lay”. He will also be missed by the Wakami Gang and his four legged companion Roxy. Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Memorial service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society, Breast Cancer Foundation or the Sault Ste.
