Phyllis was always kind to me. She treated me with respect and cared for me while letting me be myself. I was always comfortable in my own skin and she supported my relationship with her lovely daughter. I will always have fond memories of her, miss her hugs, and miss her positive energy. She lives on in her loved ones and family because she helped make their world a better place and made them better people.

My memory of Phyllis, is that she simply lit up a room when she walked into it. I had the opportunity to be touched by her aura professionally.  We had worked together on issues around Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. She had the kind of personality that you just don't forget. She was such a kind, loving and very dedicated professional. Where do I start because I am so thankful for everything Phyllis has done for my family and also for myself too. I do appreciate it so much and she will never be forgotten either. I am sending prayers and she was one of a kind lady.

Phyllis taught me more in four years about social work, and just being a kind individual, than I could learn in a lifetime.  I think I speak for more than just a few out there in the social field, that Phyllis blessed us with her knowledge and wisdom, and that her legacy will go down in our work from this point on. I think she would smile at that idea.

I am very sad to hear about Phyllisâ€˜ passing. I did not know she was ill. My heart felt condolences. 

Phyllis saved our family. She worked with my son and I. If it were not for Phyllis, our family would not be a family. She saved us. Phyllis taught me how to love when I thought I ran out of it. I often think of our meetings and how we went from terror to triumph.
